To make Spinach Pakora

Spinach leaves – 1 bunch
Onion – 2 pieces
Ginger
Green chilli – 2 nos.

Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp (Buy: https://amzn.to/2RC4fm4)

Asafoetida – 1/2 tsp (Buy: https://amzn.to/313n0Dm)
Rice flour – 1/4 cup (Buy: https://amzn.to/3saLgFa)
Gram flour/Besan – 1 cup (Buy:https://amzn.to/45k4kza)
Hot oil – 2 tbsp
Water

Method:

1. Take chopped spinach leaves in a big bowl.
2. Add chopped onion, finely chopped green chillies, ginger, carom seeds, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, rice flour, gram flour/gram flour and mix well.
3. Add hot oil to the mixture and mix well.
4. Slowly add water to the pakoda mixture and prepare a thick batter.
5. Add enough oil for frying in a pan.
6. Spread the batter slowly in small portions and fry the pakodas until they become golden brown from all sides.
7. Fry the pakodas on medium low flame.
8. Once done, remove them from the pan and gently drain on a paper towel.
9. That’s all, crunchy and delicious palak pakodas are ready to serve with hot tea.
