pieces of surana

Material:
Suran Half Kilo
::::For marination::::
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 tsp turmeric
2 teaspoons Malvani Masala
1 teaspoon salt
::::Semolina Mixture::::
grind semolina in a bowl
1 pinch cumin
salt to taste
oil for frying

Action:
1) Apply Kokum on hands before handling Suran. And peel the suran and cut it into big square pieces. Grind mango powder by mixing it in water. Soak Suran in this water for 2 hours.
2) Mix the ingredients given under marination (lemon juice, turmeric, red chilli and salt). Rub lemon juice mixture on each piece. Keep the slices aside in a plate.
3) Mix semolina, cumin, Malvani masala and salt together. Mix the slices in the semolina mixture. Keep it for 30 minutes.
4) Take water in one hand and brush it lightly on the slices so that the semolina does not get left in the oil while frying.
5) Heat oil and fry the pieces of Surana in oil. serve hot.
Take Suran orally while eating..
