Corn Chowder in Marathi

Time: 20 minutes

Material:
3/4 cup sweet corn
1/4 cup red capsicum, small cubes
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 small potato, peeled and medium cubes
2 to 4 green beans, medium pieces
3-4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/4 to 1/2 tsp red chili powder (or as per taste)
2 teaspoon butter
2 spoons flour
3 tbsp cream
grated cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Method:
1) Steam the sweet corn in the microwave for 2 minutes.
2) Heat butter in a pan. Add potatoes, cover and cook for 1 minute. Add red bell pepper, onion, green beans and sweetcorn.
3) Fry for 1 or 2 minutes. Add 1 cup water. Let it boil.
4) Take 1/4 cup water in a bowl. – Add flour and make a batter. Add it to the boiling stew.
5) Add red chili powder, salt and black pepper. Cook on low flame for 5 minutes. Add the cheese (reserve a little for garnish) and stir.
Serve hot in a bowl. Garnish with grated cheese. Serve it with grilled brown bread.
