Mushroom Masala – Food


Mushroom Masala

150 grams button mushroom
3 medium onions, grated
3 red tomatoes, finely chopped
6 to 7 cashews
4 to 5 garlic cloves, crushed
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 tbsp oil
1 teaspoon cumin
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 teaspoon red chilli
2 tbsp chopped coriander
salt to taste

1) Wash the mushrooms thoroughly. If the mushrooms are big then cut them into two pieces.
2) Heat oil and add cumin, turmeric, red chilli and temper it. Add ginger-garlic. – Add chopped onion to it and fry it. Add dry fruits. When onion is roasted, add tomatoes to it. Fry the oil on medium flame. Add salt, coriander powder and garam masala and mix.
3) Add mushrooms in it and cover and steam on medium flame. Steam cook for about 20 to 25 minutes.
When the mushrooms are cooked, add green coriander to it and garnish.
